Hi there, my name is Rachel Braxton, and I own Braxton Balanced Nutrition. I am a registered dietitian, and a mom of two.
I work with women and active individuals at every stage of life from gym-goers, athletes, busy moms and parents,
and women navigating menopause, post-menopause, or any other hormonal concerns.
I focus on performance and lifestyle nutrition, food freedom from restrictive-dieting and improving relationship with food,
sustainable-habits that actually stick, and changing how you think about food, not just what you eat.
What I don't do: quick fixes, cookie cutter meal plans, or anything that makes eating well feel complicated.
Every client is met with a science-based holistic approach built around their real life and goals.
My services include 1:1 virtual nutrition counseling. I accept Aetna insurance (BCBSNC and UHC coming soon).
I also offer pay-as-you-go options, as well as discounted package rates if they purchase multiple sessions at once.
The initial appointment is all about diving into current lifestyle goals, nutrition habits, and challenges so that I can fully understand
where each person is starting, and where they want to go. The follow-up sessions are where real progress happens, and these
sessions focus on accountability, adjustments, and building confidence so that their plan grows with them.
I do not offer in-person nutrition counseling yet, however, I do offer in-person events and speaking opportunities.
